Jerusalem Shelters is a tool to help people in Jerusalem quickly locate the nearest public shelter. The site uses your device's location to identify the five closest shelters and displays them on an interactive map with walking directions.
How to Use
- Find Nearest: Tap "Find My Location" to see the 5 shelters closest to you, with distances and directions.
- Map: Browse all shelters on an interactive map. Filter by type or neighborhood.
- List: Search all shelters by name, address, or neighborhood.
Shelter Types
Standard public shelters maintained by the municipality or community organizations.
Underground parking facilities designated as protected spaces.
Protected parking spaces within residential buildings open to the public.
Shelters marked as accessible. Shown with a gold ring on the map.
